Description: 1. In a device of the character described comprising a garment, a plurality of inflatible pockets in said garment arranged in series, means for connecting the pockets of each series, brackets on the shoulder parts of said garments, wings concavo-convex in cross section and ovoid in contour hinged with their inner ends to said brackets, handles in said wings for operating the same, a cylindrical tube on the back of said garment, a plunger in said tube and a coiled compression spring in said tube below said plunger for normally holding the flame outward, and connections between said plunger and said wings for pressing said plunger into said tube against the action of said spring, substantially as described and for the purpose set forth.
