Claim.—A rotary valve of the class described, comprising a casing having inlet and exhaust ports staggered relatively to each other, a rotor rotatably mounted in the casing having inlet and exhaust ports, conduits extending diametrically across the rotor connecting the inlet ports and exhaust ports respectively, the said conduits being arranged at right angles to each other and angularly disposed, and fan means associated with the rotor to positively air cool the same.
