Description: WHAT WE CLAIM IS:-

1. In a valve, a valve, a valve casing having a suitable division wall and discharge orifice through Said wall, a washer surrounding said discharge orifice, a ground seat on said washer and having an extension therefrom, and a locking bolt extending through said extension and suitably fastened.

2. In a valve, a valve, a valve casing having a suitable division wall and a discharge orifice through said div1sion wall, a washer surrounding said discharge orifice, a ground seat having extension bars therefrom and a locking bolt hole at the end of said bars, a looking bolt extending through said bolt hole and a nut drawing said seat to its place.

3. In a valve, a valve, a valve casing having a suitable division wall and a flanged discharge orifice in said division orifice, a washer on said flange, a ground seat on said washer having a V-Shaped bar extension therefrom and a bolt hole at the joining of said bars, a locking bolt having a cross slotted head and extending through the bottom of the valve casing, a washer encircling said bolt and a recessed nut fastening said bolt and holding the bolt washer close to said casing.

4. A valve comprising a valve proper operated manually at the end of a suitable stem, a valve casing having a stem opening suitably capped and a division wall therein with a flanged port therethrough, a ground seat surrounding said port and having an open extension therefrom, a locking bolt through said extension and a locking nut formed to engage a, part of the casing and to hold the ground seat closely to its engagement with said flange.
