Claim.—Gate construction of the character described comprising in combination a gate, a rotable hinge rod having a series of orifices therein, means for supporting the said rod comprising a concave step bearing, U-shaped bracket members mounted on the said gate and slidably mounted on the said rod, orifices in the said bracket members adapted to register with orifices in the hinge rod and pins engaging the orifices in the rackets and rod and means for connecting the hinge rod to the post.
