Claim.—1. In combination in a connector, a screw ferrule with means provided thereon for securing therearound a weatherproof casing a similar ferrule threaded the reverse way to the one aforesaid securing a weatherproof casing which said casing has a lower skirt member formed thereon, an intermediate portion interiorly threaded the threads of which are adapted to either engage the threaded ends of both the aforesaid ferrules simultaneously, or to disengage the said threaded ends upon reverse motion of the said intermediate portion, a weatherproof member surrounding the said intermediate portion the upper portion of which member is of such diameter that it will pass within the skirt upon the upper member and the lower portion of the said member surrounding the intermediate portion being In the form of a skirt which passes over the weatherproof member surrounding the first-mentioned ferrule, all substantially as described.

2. A connector consisting of a lower ferrule secured to an electrical conductor encased In weatherproof material an upper ferrule also encased in weatherproof material the lower end of which forms a skirt surrounding the upper portion of a central connecting member a central connecting member fitted interiorly with reverse threads to engage the ends of the said ferrules encased in weatherproof material the said casing being adapted to pass within the skirt upon the lower end of the upper member, the lower end of the said casing forming a skirt to pass over the casing upon the lower ferrule, and provided exteriorly with a means for rotating the said connecting member upon the threaded portions of both ferrules simultaneously, all substantially as described.
