Claim.—1. The herein described method of impregnating a wooden pole or the like at one end with a liquid preservative and at its other end with a vapour preservative which comprises placing the pole in a closed tank the lower part of which contains a liquid preservative in which the lower end of the pole is immersed and a vapour preservative in the upper part of said tank which encloses the upper end of said pole.
2. The herein described method of impregnating a wooden pole or the like at one end with a liquid preservative and at its other end with a vapour preservative which comprises placing the pole in a closed tank the lower part of which contains a liquid preservative in which the lower end of the pole is immersed and a vapour preservative in the upper part of said tank which encloses the upper end of said pole and subjecting said preservatives to pressure while the pole is surrounded by the same.
3. The herein described method of impregnating a wooden pole or the like at one end with a liquid preservative and at its other end with a vapour preservative which comprises placing the pole in a closed tank, the lower part of which contains a liquid preservative in which, the lower end of the pole is immersed and a vapour preservative in the upper part of said tank which encloses the upper end of said polo and subjecting said preservatives to heat and pressure while the pole is surrounded by the same.
