Claim.—1. A clamp for battery terminal posts comprising a body portion formed with means for receiving the end of a cable and with a half jaw, a second half jaw portion hingedly connected at one end thereof to one end of the first half jaw portion, said half jaw portions when in closed position forming therebetween a post receiving opening, an elongated loop swingably connected to the free end of one of the jaw portions and adapted to swing over the other jaw portion, and a cam lever pivotally connected to the free end of said loop, one of the jaw portions formed with a recess adapted to receive mud cam lever when the jaws are in closed position.

2. A clamp for battery terminal posts comprising a body portion formed with a cable receiving orifice and with a half jaw portion, a second half jaw portion hingedly connected at one end thereof to the body portion at one end of the jaw portion thereof, said half jaw portions when in closed position forming therebetween a post receiving opening, an elongated loop swingably connected to the second jaw portion adjacent to the free end thereof and adapted to swing over the free end of the other jaw portion, and a cam lever piovtally connected to the free end of said loop, the body portion formed with a recess adapted to receive said cam lever when the jaws are in closed position.

3. In a clamp for battery terminal posts according to claim 2, a spicular projection carried by one of the jaw portions and forming a projection extending into the pot receiving opening.
