Description: Jeremiah Carr Forster, Forestburg, Alberta, Canada, 11th March, 1930. Filed 17th January, 1929. Serial No. 345,717.

Claim.—1. A building insulator including a blank provided with a right angle cut in each corner portion thereof and score lines parallel with the sides and ends of the blank and meeting at the inner ends of said cuts, said blank being also provided with score lines outwardly of the first-mentioned longitudinal score lines thereof and parallel therewith, whereby the side members of the blank may be folded to right angle form in cross section and the end members of the blank turned in at right angles to the body of the blank with their free extremities engaging the inner portions of said side members.

2. A building insulator including a blank having right angle cuts in the ends thereof adjacent the corners of the blank so as to provide end members with free extremities and side members with free extremities projecting past the end members when both the side members and the end members are folded on the main portion of the blank and the free extremities of the end members turned in against the inner portions of the side members.

3. A building insulator including the combination with a pair of parallel main structure members, of a blank having side members and end members farmed thereon without waste of material, and side members and end members being adapted to be bent at right angles to the main portion of the blank between the adjacent main structure members with the free extremities of the end members turned in against the side members and the latter having outwardly bent edges for engagement against the narrow edge of the parallel structure members with which they are engaged and the free extremities of the outwardly bent portions on said side members extended past the folded-in end members of the blank.
