Description: Charles Lewis Lehman, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, 11th March, 1930. Filed 11th May, 1929. Serial No. 350,511.

Claim.—An auxiliary heating chamber which may be attached direct to the vent pipe of furnace for the utilizing of the waste heat, the heating chamber formed of an outer casing insulated on the inner side, a primary heating chamber having inlet and outlet, also provided with a division forming independent compartments, also with cleanout at the bottom, a damper for controlling the direction of the heat, the outer casing provided with opening at the end to admit air over heating surfaces, and conductor at upper end to discharge heated air into the dome of hot air furnace.
