Claim—1. A rail lifting tool comprising a shank, a cross-head formed integral with the shank, prongs extending from said crosshead adapted to straddle a tie or the like, said prongs being curved from the plane of the handle and crosshead, and formed with rail engaging ends.
2. The device as claimed in claim 1. in which the rail engaging ends are in the form of a notched and tapered
end.
3. A rail lifting tool comprising a shank, a crosshead formed integral with the shank, prongs extending from the crosshead adapted to straddle a. tie and the like, said prongs being curved from the plane of the handle and crosshead, and provided with a recessed portion adjacent the ends forming tapered rail engaging points, and a rail engaging shoulder.
