Claim.—In a sliding door opening and closing device the combination of a hand lever manipulating a cable and pulley system to close said sliding doors, a gravity controlled counterweight tightener a hand lever manipulating a cable and pulley system to close said sliding doors, a second gravity controlled counterweight tightener, each lever being dependent on the other lever for its subsequent return to a normal position by continuous connection between the two said levers, all as set forth in the specifications and drawing.
