Description: Sigurd Hans Burnstad, Round Hill, Alberta, Canada, 26th August, 1930. Filed 22nd November, 1928. Serial No. 343.760.

Claim.—5. In a binder, a reel mounted to swing in a horizontal plane around a vertical axis, means for swinging said reel and releasably locking same in different horizontal positions, means for vertically raising and lowering said reel and releasably locking same in different vertical position, means for shifting said reel forwardly and rearwardly and releasably locking same in different forward and rearward positions, and means for continuously rotating said reel from the motion of the binder irrespective of the position of said reel.

6. In a binder, a reel mounted to swing in a horizontal plane around a vertical axis and to shift horizontally away from and toward said axis means for swinging said reel and releasably locking same in different horizontal positions, means for shifting said reel away from and toward said vertical axis and releasably locking said reel in different shifted positions means for vertically raising and lowering said reel and releasably locking same in different vertical positions, means for shifting said reel forwardly and rearwardly and releasably locking same in different forward and rearward positions, and means for continuously rotating said reel from the motion of the binder irrespective of the position of said reel.

7. In a binder, a reel rigidly mounted on a horizontally arranged shaft, means for rotatably and slidably mounting said shaft, means for sliding said shaft horizontally and releasably locking same in different positions, means for vertically raising and lowering said shaft and releasably locking same in different vertical positions, means for shifting said shaft forwardly and rearwardly and releasably locking same in different forward and rearward positions, and means for continuously rotating said shaft from the motion of the binder irrespective of the position of said shaft.
