2. A combined operative folding desk and chair-assembly consisting of a desk embracing a front vertical wall; a two-part horizontal folding top one of its parts being much wider than the other means to operate as legs associated with said front wall; an arm-rest hinged at its inner end to one end of said desk, and a chair-assembly; movably associated with the outer end of said arm-rest comprising a plate held in a vertical plane, and a chair movably associated with said plate and located in front of said desk.

3. A combined operative folding desk and chair-assembly consisting of a desk embracing a front vertical wall; a two-part horizontal folding top one of its parts being much wider than the other means to operate as legs associated with said front wall; an armrest hinged at its inner end to the outer end of said desk; a chair-back pivotally associated with said plate, and a seat operatively associated with said chair-back.

6. In combination an arm-rest; a plate vertically hinged thereto at the outer end thereof and provided with a chamfered outer curved end; a chair-back pivotally associated with said plate; a seat operatively associated with said chair-back, and a plate carried by said chair-back and adapted to pass closely in front of said curved end of said plate when the said seat is moved into position for use, for the purpose specified.

7.
