Description: The embodiments of the invention in which an exclusive property or privilege is claimed are defined as follows:

1. In a display rack and dispenser for floor coverings and the like, a rack having vertical spaced end frames, upper and lower sprocket wheels mounted rot at ably in each end frame, an endless sprocket chain operating on the upper and lower sprocket wheels in each end frame, a plurality of rolls of material supported by the endless chains, a rewinding roller mounted on the rack and arranged to engage any of the rolls of material, an idler roller positioned to engage the under side of the material being dispensed prior to its engagement with the rewinding roller, and a cutting guide positioned above the idler to contact the under side of the material being dispensed, a suitable power source and a driving connection between the power source and the sprocket wheels to rotate the wheels.

2. In a display rack and dispenser for floor coverings and the like, a rack having vertical spaced end frames, upper and lower sprocket wheels mounted rot at ably in each end frame an upper and lower sprocket chain operating on the upper and lower sprocket wheels in each end frame, a plurality of rolls of material supported by the endless chains, rewinding roller mounted removably rotatably on the rack and arranged to engage material from any of the rolls of material, an idler roller mounted rotatably on the rack and positioned to
contact the under side of the material from a roll of material prior to its engagement with the rewinding roller and a cutting guide positioned adjacent the idler roller to contact the under side of the material from the roll of material, a suitable power source and a driving connection between the power source and the sprocket wheels to rotate the wheels.
