Aligning Face Lock-Joint Construction

1. In a construction joint for securing panels, beams, etc. having abutting shoulders and aligning faces. angled securing means to hold said joint. together, notches cut in the faces of the panels to allow the securing means to come flush with, the panel-faces.

2. In a construction joint according to claim 1, the adding of dowels in the opposite shoulders of each panel to be inserted in the abutting shoulders when the securing means is tighter to. further secure the joint.

3. A construction joint according to claim 1 in which the securing means is a tie rod or bolt, and nut fastener.

4. A construction joint according to claim 1 in Which the securing means have the threaded nuts imbedded in the one part of the joint to accept the bolts coming through from the other part at the joint.
