4 Claims.

1. A mold for casting monolithically hollow concrete step structures with sides and integral risers as well as steps and a platform and for casting such step structures in an upsidedown position comprising a unitary inside form having sides and a platform as well as riser and step portions, a multi-section outside form having side portions as well as a riser and a step and platform portion secured together releasably, both inside and outside forms having the riser portion thereof battered to thicken the risers of a step cast in the mold at their junction with a step portion, an end form secured releasably to the outside form and having a seat projecting therefrom into contact with the inside form, truss means extending laterally across the platform of the outside form, means supporting the inside form in position with respect to the outside form, such means including means for joining the edges of the inside and outside forms.

2. The mold as claimed in claim 1 wherein the means for supporting the inside form with respect to the outside form includes jack means readable between the inside and outside forms for loosening the inside form when a concrete step has been poured.

3. The mold as claimed in claims 1 and 2 wherein there is provided concave moldings fixed to sections of the outside form to provide concave inner edges when the sections of the form are secured together and caulking between the said molding and the form to prevent seepage of material thereby.

4. The mold as claimed in claim 1 wherein the truss means extending laterally across the platform of the outside form is adapted to spring the sides of the outside form outwardly when the end form is removed therefrom.
