Description: The embodiments of the invention in which an exclusive property or privilege is claimed are defined as follows:
1. In an artificial tree, a hollow trunk of resilient material, branches extending radially from the trunk, such branches being partially hollow with their hollow portions in communication with the hollow trunk and valve controlled air inlet means to permit air to be forced into the trunk and the branches to stiffen the trunk and branches.
2. The artificial tree as claimed in Claim 1 wherein the branches are of resilient material and are foldable with respect to the trunk when air is exhausted therefrom, whereby the artificial tree may be stored.
3. In an artificial tree, a main hollow trunk of resilient material having a weighted base at its lower end and a connection at its upper end, partially hollow resilient branches extending radially from the trunk with the hollow portion of such branches being in communication with the hollow trunk, a secondary solid trunk and branch extension portion connectable to the main hollow trunk at the said connection at the upper end thereof and air inlet means to permit air to be forced into the main trunk and branches to stiffen the main trunk and branches.
