Description:
The embodiments of the invention in which an exclusive property or privilege is claimed are defined as follows:

In a spout for mounting on a used oil pail from which the lid has been removed, said spout including a hood and a pouring spout on the hood, and said pail having an annular bead around the rim, said hood having its lower portion rolled to provide an inwardly faced groove adapted to overlie the bead on the pail, and the marginal portion thereof rolled to form an outwardly faced groove, a gasket between the inwardly faced groove on the hood and the bead on the pail, a clamping wire, and means engageable with the wire to draw the wire tight around the hood and pail with the wire engaged in the outwardly faced groove on the hood and below the bead on that portion of the pail not covered by the hood.
