THE EMBODIMENTS OF THIS INVENTION IN WHICH AN EXCLUSIVE

PROPERTY OR PRIVILEGE IS CLAIMED ARE DEFINED AS FOLLOWS:

1. A telephone dial insert including an inner annular ring, said ring having a semi-circular groove formed centrally within its outer peripheral edge; an outer annular ring, said ring having a concave recess formed centrally within its outer peripheral edge and a semi-circular groove formed centrally within its inner peripheral edge, said groove being cooperable with said groove formed in said inner annular ring; a plurality of ball bearings, said ball bearings being captively retained within said semi-circular groove s; spacing strips located within said semi-circular groove s, said spacing strips maintaining said plurality of ball bearings in a spaced apart relationship; said inner ring and said outer ring being located coaxially within a dial hole of a conventional telephone dialing disc, and said outer ring being a snap fit within said dial hole.

2. A telephone dial insert as defined in claim 1 in which said inner annular ring has a beaded section extending arcuately outwardly through substantially 180°.

3. A telephone dial insert including an annular ring, said ring having a semi-circular groove formed centrally within its outer peripheral edge; a plurality of ball bearings located within said semi circular groove, said ball bearings being self-spacing and being captively retained between said annular ring and the circular edge defining the dial hole of a telephone dialing disc, and said dial hole edge having a semi-circular groove formed centrally the rearound, cooperable with said ball bearings.
