Claim.—1. The combination of a baling chamber case having a bar extending in the direction of length of the chamber, a carrier plate having a loop on said bar, a bell supported on said plate, a pivoted hammer arranged at one end to strike the bell and extending at its other end beyond the carrier plate and adapted to project into a bale tying wire, and a spring for actuating said hammer, substantially as described.
2. The combination of a baling chamber case, a signal having a carrier supported in connection with the case and provided with a bell, and a hammer having an arm extending into position for operation from a bale, substantially as set forth.
3. The combination of a baling chamber case, a supporting bar held thereto, a carrier plate mounted on and movable along the bar, a bell on said carrier plate, and a hammer operating on said bell and having an arm extended into position to project within the tying wire of a bale, substantially as set forth.
4. A signal for baling presses comprising a carrier plate having a box or loop, a bell on said plate, and a hammer operating on the bell and extended beyond the plate whereby it may pass under a baling wire for operation thereby.
5. A baling press having a block, call or signal provided with a hammer having a portion extending into position to project under a baling wire for operation therby, substantially as set forth.
